This unique and versatile dental lamp was produced by The Harry J Bosworth Co of Chicago, Illinois in the 1920s. Harry J Bosworth was founded in 1912 and continues to be one of the top dental accessory producers in the world. It has a useful multi stage switch that allows for the use of one, two or all of the individual lamps at once and would make a stylish and interesting addition to any workshop, living area or showroom. It has a spring loaded mount that pivots and moves up and down as well as laterally. The mounting plate is 8 1/2\" x 2\" and it connects to a 13\" base with 75 inches of electrical wire. The main swing arm measures 31\" inches and telescopes approximately 14\" before connecting to a 9\" drop arm that holds through the center lamp base that stands 17\" tall and is 6\" in diameter. Each lamp arm measures 3\" while the lamp sockets measure 4 3/4\" in diameter each for a full extension of 6 1/2\" from the center connector. The glass holophane acorn lamps measure 6\" in diameter at their widest, 4\" in diameter at the base and are 6 1/2\" tall from top to bottom. This is a vintage item that is worn but in excellent cosmetic and functioning condition for its age.
