Trader-BOB\'s MUSIC offers a Vintage King Trombone. 8\" Bell, .500\" (really close on my dial calipers) ID of the inner slide tubes. The serial number, 141589, looking on the internet states 1930 - 1935? Accuracy of the info in question. This horn maybe could look 1930\'s, but the case surely does not. Looking closely the way the instrument fits into this case, it is not the original for this horn . The dent in the bell was caused by the slide assembly for the horn. The way the case is made, (see pix #6 & 7), the slide assembly is stored with the short stem nearest the hinge side of the case. There is a bulge in the formed case lining restricting the slide assembly to be stored the opposite way, with the long stem to the hinge side of the case. That area being changed will allow the slide assembly to be stored in reverse of pix #6. This change will allow the longer tube of the slide assembly out of the way, and will not interference with the bell. The slide is smooth, needs lubrication. There are wear marks, a dent in the bell, (caused by the case storage), and a couple smaller dents in the bell rear loop. The water relief lever is missing, and no mouthpiece. Not tested, not a trombone player. I will modify the case at the buyers request.
