Very nice solid multi-purpose kitchen tool with two rounded blades on one end like a hatchet and three toothed blades on the opposite. Designed for chopping, tenderizing, cutting, dicing, etc. Patent dated, 1911. In very good condition with no rust.
It has a wing nut screw which allows it to be taken apart for cleaning and an eye loop on the handle end to hang it up when not in use. Perfect for your vintage or antique kitchen utensil collection. It measures 11\" long. The blades are 4-1/4\" front to back. The front rounded blades are 3\" wide and the tendeizer blades are 2-1/4\" wide.Handle imprint is in fair condition and would read “PATENT APRIL 4, 1911 – M.H. TYLER MFG. CO – MUNCIE, INDIANA”. The front half is not readable, back half of the imprint is ok. Varnish is in fair to good condition with some flaking.
