This sight folds down for use with a tang-mounted peep sight and/or to prevent damage when not in use. It is actually eight sights in one as the movable leaf has 4 different notch types, plus one sight is plain black and one sight has the typical white diamond. This sight is in excellent condition, exhibiting 90% dark blue with only minor edge wear. The set screw is not buggered and is free/the sliding leaf moves freely as well.
