This vintage ring has been beautifully crafted and is marked Finland at the back outside of the band. On the inside there is the anvil mark of the Kupittaan Kulta Company which was founded by Ellis Kauppi. Ellis\'s mid century modernist designs are credited with bringing the world\'s attention to Finnish jewelry. This ring is marked with U7 which dates this ring to 1973. It is also marked 925 for sterling silver and with a crown. The ring size is 5 1/2. The front of the ring measures 3/4\" across. The ring weighs 14 grams or .5 ounce. The stone looks to be blue granite. Kupittaan Kulta was known for using local stones such as granite in its designs. This very unique ring is in great vintage condition.
