New Peabody children\'s pencil school desk. New Peabody was located in North Manchester, Indiana and was formed in 1902. They built school furniture, indoor and outdoor public seating such as theater and stadium seating until 1969. This desk is a project piece for restoring. The solid wood is not in good shape. Warping in some places. The metal frame is solid and the seat still lowers and raises easily. Pick up only 77083
