You are looking at a very unique vintage oak china cabinet. I have only seen onepicture of one like itsince I\'ve owned it. I purchased it in 1975 and it\'s been in a smoke free home for about 39 years.
What makes it so unique and rare is that it has4 sides of curved glass which I believe to be all original. The door, the right side and the left short side are curved glass.Most other cabinets have a straight side on the inner side. Also, thesmall dooron the bottom left side is curved glass.I have 2 glass shelves for the inside of the right side of the cabinet also.
All of the pieces that hold the rail on the top of the cabinet are there, however I don\'t have the nails that hold it in place. I\'m sure those would be easy to replace.
On the left cabinet side: The drawer pulls are what came on it. I\'m not sure if the 2 inner pulls are original or not, the others seem to be. The drawers are in good condition. The 2 small bottom doors show more wear with a crack in each side. There is a broken off leg but I do have it as seen laying on the wood bracing the cabinetin the picture.
The small glass door opening has a small wooden shelf inside with an inward curve in thefrontwhich can be removed. The dooralso has a pull that came on it that I\'m not sure is original.
The top ornatepiece on the left of the cabinet is invery good condition but a little loose as is the top decorative piece on the top right side.Both pieces havenever been off of the cabinet,they just need to be secured. The wood in that part is verypretty in color. The spindleson the left side are in very good condition also.
The cabinet measures approx 66\" in heightto the top of the brass rail; approx 75\" in heightto the top of the ornate top piece; approx 55\" in width and approx 24\" deep.
This is a very lengthy description, but I want to point out as much as I can. This is a beautiful, very old piece that will be gorgeous with a little TLC..I never tried to refinish it, I didn\'t want to take away from its original beauty. It\'s a rare find!
