Vintage Packard-Bell AR-851 Transistor AM Radio:
This sale is for a vintage Packard-Bell AR-851 tabletop eight-transistor AM radio from around the early 1960s. This radio model wasnotably used in the 1964-1967 television show "Gilligan's Island", albeit with a handle and antenna added by the show's props department to make it look more "portable". This radio is in outstanding condition with no major flaws anywhere (just a few very light scuffs on the back of the unit). The face is clean and bright, and the knobs turn smoothly. The radio is testedand works very well(it requires four 'D' size batteries). Please ask any questions prior to offerding. Thanks for looking!
