Vintage Philco H-1134 1950\'s Refrigerator in Original condition - Museum Quality:
$11995.00

If you are interested do not wait for it to be relisted. I am not going to list this item for sale again.

This Refrigerator is in ORIGINAL condition. It is 62 years old. No part has been replaced or repaired. There is NO rust or oxidation. No dings, chips, dents or scratches...... It Is Not A Restoration!

There is very minor moisture discoloration in the back of the freezer and slight moisture damage on freezer shelf as can be seen in pictures. They will buff out like new in minutes. I am 100% certain since the freezer surfaces are aluminum. The other blemish I can see is a partially worn spot in the color on the freezer door handle the size of your little finger.

I did not have time to clean it before I took pics, though I have since cleaned many of the spots u may see in the pictures. Anything else you see in the pictures that may look like a spot or damage is just surface grunge or dust. If you have any concerns about anything you see, I will wipe the area or spot clean and send you a picture of the perfect surface.

This refrigerator is museum qualty (where it will eventually reside withgood custodial care). It may be the most original and perfect example in existence. From what I have been able to discover, it is most likely a 1952 model.

I have numerous photographs of close up details. If you are interested in purchasing, I will send them. You will be amazed!

I bought this piece in approximately 1980 at a moving company storage sale. They brought outa large wooden crate to the sale stage and opened it for the first time since it was put into storage back in 1955. I remember when they opened the refrigerator door and the morning sun reflected off all that chrome and fancy gold and green plastic that there was an actual gasp from the audience. I brought it home, plugged it in and the light came on along with the compressor. After I had run it for long enough to see that it got cold in the refrigerator compartment and very cold in the freezer, I turned the thermostat dial to the off position and left it plugged in so the light would work. It was functioning perfectly.

That was approximately 34 years ago. I have moved 3 times since then and have taken the utmost care when I had to move it. I have been fortunate that it is still in the same condition as I bought it. I have kept it in safe areas such as my locked home office where it has been for the past 18 years. The porcelain is still smooth and shiney. The plastic looks as if it were just molded. The chrome wire shelves are still smooth and shiney. The cardboard /(leather?) emblem above the dairy bar with the stamped design and model designation looks as if it were put there yesterday.

The inside of the door is what they called the dairy bar and is so labled.

There are 2 rows of egg holders with numerous round cutouts designed to cradle eggs.

Below that are 2 shelves labled \"bottles\".

The butter compartment still has the original botter tray in it.

The Cheese keeper has the original tray with a sponge of some sort in the bottom. Apparently some method for keepingcheese fresh.

The chiller drawer pulls out below the freezer compartment.

I will rent a u-haul enclosed truck and deliver it personally if you pay expenses. Or you can come to get it or send someone you trust. I will not send it commercial freight.

I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Please do not confuse my sale with another being run by some comedianin Louisianawho cut and pasted my title onto his sale. I asked him to change his title. His reply was, \"why don\'t you change yours\"? Hillarious huh? What can I do?

The one he is selling is the same year and model as mine. It is quite nice, though it may have had a trip or two around the swamp behind a motorboat, I don\'t know. Still museum quality, of course.
