This excellent tool was manufactured early last century and is approaching 100 years old. It appears to have spent most of the years in a tool box somewhere and seems to have minimal wear.A purist collector may not want to remove the signs of age soI opted to not clean the tool and the photos show its\' exact condition. If you want to clean the tool it would probably look almost new except for the remains of red paint on the handle. Either way, this is a fine tool and would be at home in a tool box or on display.
