Vintage RARE 1979 Aria Pro II PE-R80 HOT PINK Mini Electric Guitar Japan w/ OHSC:
$1699.95

Gorgeous and RARE Vintage Aria Pro II Short Scale Electric Guitar with Original Hardshell Case, made in 1979 in JapanThis guitar is in excellent, near mint condition and the case is just as nice. It\'s a short scale model or 3/4 sized guitar with a 21\" scale, nut width just under 1-5/8\" with total length a little less than 35\". I believe this is a PE-R80 short scale model, from searching the catalogues. (PE stands for \"Pro Electric\") All I was able to find after an extensive search was one picture of Neal Schon playing one that was identical to this. I don\'t know if this was a custom build or a production model, any information about this model would be appreciated. This gorgeous guitar features a Hot Pink finish in dazzling condition with a few very minor dings and scratches. They went all out with the radical pink paint job, heavy multi-layered binding, cloud inlays on the dark rosewood fretboard, zebra \"Classic Power\" full size humbucker pickups, brass nut, gold plated hardware and screws, long tenon neck joint with smooth an easy neck access, cool contoured body, all original and working perfectly with very minimal wear. The bridge says Made in Japan 1979 on the bottom of it. The body is solid with mahogany sandwiched between a carved maple top and back. The control cavity covers are made with thick wood that\'s contoured with the carve of the body, very custom and cool. The adjustable bridge even has tiny allen stop screws to keep the bridge (and your setup) in place when changing strings. This was just purchased from the original owner, who said she hasn\'t touched it since 1983 or so. It has been cleaned up, conditioned and set up with new D\'addario 10s and it sounds and looks amazing. This was probably the first setup this guitar has ever had, action is low on nice straight neck, set about 3/64\" on treble and 1/16\" on bass side @ 12th fret. There is some minor tarnishing on the gold hardware and some patina on the original brass nut, with almost zero fret wear. The thicker binding in the cutaway area is just starting to lift as seen in last pic. If you\'re looking for the highest end pro grade guitar for a child or a lady, this guitar will be very hard to beat. It\'s a great conversation piece and one that will stand out in anyones guitar collection. Google Neal Schon Aria Pro and you\'ll see the pic of him playing one of these. It will give you a better idea of the guitars size. I have additional pics including the bottom of the bridge and the tenon joint with the neck pickup unscrewed. Wow, what an amazing little guitar this is, if you\'re looking for a \"cute\" guitar, this one wins. You will definitely be the only guy or gal on the block with one of these!
