This sale is foraVintage Ringo Toy corporation model kit that was made in Jamaica, New York of the of the Yacht fast schooner Atlantic from my personal collection. This is a rare kit of vintage Americana 3D art from long ago. The only date given with this kit is on the bottom right side of the instruction pamplet that shows RL 1947. I am assuming that RL 1947 means release date. But assume can make a ass out of you and me as the old saying goes.
The box is in ok condition with some shelf ware. The box has some scuffing around the edges and some bowing on the top part. You can see this in the pictures. Also there is a small hole at the red H in the word yacht at the top of the box, but this does not show very bad. The inside of the box has someduck tape on it.
The scale of this kit reads 1/8\" to 1\' . The kit is molded in multi-colorstan, black, and white.All the parts are in excellent condition. It is missing the 3 crew figures that came with the kit and the rigging thread only. I will inclose some rigging thread from other kits and some figures. The box reads that the kit will be 28.5\" long. The one piece hull is around 23\" long. The large box is around 23.5\" long and around 12\" wide. The instruction guide is in good condition with light staining here and there. The flag sheet is in very good condition. Please note;This kit does not have any preformed ratlines, you have to make them with thread. The sails look good, but the sail sheet has been cut in half, as you can see in picture number 7. Some of the parts are loose off the sprues, I have bagged all the loose ones for shipping.
