A:Thank you! I believe it to be in excellent condition. I looked it up before buying and knew it was a valuable piece. I set my pricing based on the few similar rigs I saw on .Q:Thanks, I am sure it is made for a colt single action army,the ammunition in the belt in the picture looks to fit it pretty well,the cartridge designation will be imprinted upon the top of the round,encircling the primer,,,colt standard barrel lengths were appears to be a fit for the two smaller?
A:All of the cartridges say 38 Special or Spl. There are also different brands like: Western, Peters, R-P... I just put a ruler inside the holster and it measures 7 1/8\". Does that measurement help?Q:How old?what size cartridge?what size pistol,thanks
A:Hi, I wish I could give you the answers you need. I purchased this at an estate sale. The owner was an avid collector. His \"man cave\" was dedicated to the Old West. He had old, original saddles, holsters, guns among other things. I only bought this one holster. All I can tell you is that it is marked S.D. Myres El Paso. I think those were made in the early 20th century, but that\'s all I know. If you can tell me how to find out what size cartridge and pistol, I will be happy to measure. Thanks for your interest.
