This is the most recent of the Divair models, Model C, made in the late 1950's. Not as pretty as the other regulators I have listed tonight, but much harder to find. The regulator is equipped with the "reserve" low airwarning mechanism. The lever moves properly. The metal part of the can has some corrosion and a little chrome loss in one spot. It looks like there are stress cracks in the metal, starting at the edge next to the plastic half, and extending about 1/4" - 1/2". The plastic half looks good. One of the three sets of nuts & bolts does not look original, but functional. Most of the light blue paint has come off of the label. The serial number is C7826. The inhalation side hose has a split at the point where the hose attaches to the tube. There is dry rot in the currugated hoses. The exhalation hose has not split yet. I took apart the original Healthways Hope-Page Non-Return Valve mouthpiece. Both valves have curled up and are worthless. One of the valves fell out and I threw it away. The wagon wheel valve retainer is still there. I did not try this regulator on a tank. I am selling it as a collectable. It will need to be serviced, if you intend to use it.
Due to 's new policy of charging the seller 9% of the SHIPPING FEES as part of the Final Value Fee, in addition to the 9% of the final sale amount, I am forced to raise my handling fees to at least $2.00 oneach sale. The heavier the package, the higher the handling fee. This has already been included in the quoted shipping & handling fee listed with the sale. Sorry! If you win more than one item, I will combine them into one package, if it is practical, and reduce the shipping & handling fees accordingly. Please wait for my invoice.
