A pair of Snell type 3A speakers from the original owner. Purchased in 1986 for $6,400 . In very good condition.Hadall surrounds replaced in 2014 by Simply Speakers in St. Petersburg, Fl. This pair has the factory backward firing super tweeters. Only cosmetic defect is a very small hole in one of the grills, have to look hard to see it and the bottom 3/4\" base plate has been painted to match as opposed to the original tape.

The speakers split into 2 sections for moving. The upper section weighs 43lb and the lower weighs 54lb.

Power requirments (minimum) is 80 watts continuous / channel. They have been used driven with a pair of Carver500 Watt dual channel magnetic amplifiers and a Parasound 2100 Pre-amp (all for sale in separate adds). The speakerswill accomodatebi-amping, butare not noticebly different whenusing single channel amps usingbridging cables.
