Shipping Policy:
Shipping is free for 99% of the items I sell, except in cases where shipping makes up a large part of the purchase price. Books will be mailed either by first class mail (if under 11 ounces) or media mail (if over 10 ounces) unless additional upgrades are purchased. Other items will be mailed via first class or standard mail/priority mail. Sometimes I will upgrade your shipping for free to priority mail in the case of high dollar items.
Except in rare situations, I ship either same day or next day depending on when your order comes in. Monday-Friday, my normal cut off for shipping is approximately8-9 AM EST, but sometimes a little later. On Saturday, the cut-off time varies but is typically around 12 PM EST. I do not ship on Sunday as USPS is closed that day.
With any very thin items (maps, pamphlets, and some books, i.e.), I always ship between cardboard and or bubble wrap inside of a plastic mailer to keep bending from occurring. Model cars/hotwheels/matchbox are shipped in boxes.
For international shipments, the quoted price is too high 99% of the time, and I will provide a refund before your items ships of the difference. I ship to any country allowable.
Payment:
If you are unable to pay for your item within a week of purchase, please contact me to let me know. If not, I will open an unpaid buyer\'s case.
Best Offers:
I am more than happy to accept reasonable best offers. Please note that on low price items ($5 and under, for instance)I cannot budge very much on the price as shipping is free- and comes out of my pocket. The lowest price to ship any item/pay for fees and packaging is around $2.50 so please keep that in mind (and that is with *no* profit whatsoever). In order to keep from receiving so many best price offers I will not be able to accept, the system automatically rejects items that are too low. If you want to buy multiple items I can be much more flexible- soplease put a note with your offer so it will come through or contact me directly.
Other info:
Items comes from a non-smoking home, however I acquire items from many places and like anyone who purchases used/vintage items I cannot guarantee they have never come in contact with smoke. I keep my items stored in an area with a de-humidifier running 100% of the time to decrease any mold or odors. If you are worried about this, please contact me and I will try to do a thorough \'sniff\' test for you before your purchase.
I try to provide accurate descriptions on all of my items, but as I am human mistakes can and do happen. If you are not satisfied, please let me know and I will do whatever I can to make the situation right. Except for rare situations where I am out of town and have assistance, I handle every item personally- and unlike some big box companies I care about each and every order.
