For sale is a very special vintage McNally Strumstick. I say this for several reasons: 1st) theserial number is \"9216\", which dates this to 1993 (see 2nd pic). This is a low number since they are now over 70,000; 2nd) The model, serial number, and R. McNally Signature are all handwritten (see 2nd pic). This was only done on early models and further I think he usuallysigns them B or Bob not R for I suppose Robert; 3) Even though this is a G Standard it is larger then typical ones which are usually 29.5\" by 4\". This one is 30.5\" by 4.5\" giving it a bigger sound! So if you are into Strumsticks then this niceearly model withunusual size will be a great addition to your collection. It is in very good shape with some normal wear from age and use, as pictured. Thecondition is totally original. I purchased thisyesterday from the original family and it has not been cleaned. SO this babyjs fresh! It also sounds great! Now as you may know Bob McNally invented the Backpacker guitar and in 1994 sold the licenseto manufacture it to Martin which is why this Strumstick looks so similar to the Martin Backpacker!
