This listing is for the very rare vintage 1930’s Presentation Tray Set for the Sunbeam T-9 Toaster.

This set is almost impossible to find, and is highly desirable.

This set consists of a circular chrome plated serving tray with satin finish center and Bakelite handles, and a 3-compartment heavy glass crystal appetizer or relish dish.

The incised design on the insert was a design by noted industrial designer, George Scharfenberg, and it matches the design of the Sunbeam T-9 toaster and also resembles the Trylon and Perisphere of the 1939 New York World’s Fair.

The 3-compartment glass tray is crystal clear with only slight evidence of wear or few use marks. There are no chips or cracks.

The chrome tray with Bakelite handles is very shiny and extra smooth to the touch with no rust or tarnish. The Bakelite handles are in excellent condition.

The glass insert measures 4 3/4” by 11 1/4”, and the chrome tray measures about 14” across, counting the handles.

This set is extra nice and will be a feather in the cap of the lucky collector that purchases it.
