Offered is a true, 1940 Working Sunbeam Mixmaster, Model 3B, with attachments. This is a 10 speed model, received as a wedding gift in 1940. Research indicates the 10 Speed Model 3B was produced 1935-1941. It has handle and speed control knob made of Bakelite. The black bakelite handle is designed to move a quarter turn to utilize a Juicer attachment and a Drink mixer attachment, bothalso included. There is the original glass small mixing bowl (glass, as the primary part for the juicer) and an instruction/recipe book for the model 7B, which has similar oiling directions diagrams, as recipes, also included. An interesting Drink Mixer attachment, all metal, is also included.

This is a working mixer, oiled and used little in last 5 years, with light soil, old food specks on parts, and finish paint wear in all areas. Photo of the mixer running, beaters spinning blur. There issurface rust in few areas on removable and adjustable metal plate which the bowls sit on while in use. No dents are seen, all parts move as designed, on the mixer and with the attachments. There are also 3 mixer beaters (one spare) included. There are four small raised feet on the base of the unit I have added modern felt pads to (not original).

Detailson the base of the mixeron its base (also in photo)\"Manufactured by Chicago Flexible Shaft Co., Chicago, USA\" and many patent numbers and words\"Model 3 B\". Also states \"Volts 110-120. Model 3A Watts 120 at high speed\" On the side of the large cream colored mixer body are numbers 1001040. When the body is raised to lift beaters from the bowl, at the hinge areaon the metal arethe model number again \"3B\". 10 speeds are indicated on the speed control knob. Part number on the base of the large glass dome shaped juice mixer is \"3, Des Pat. 87228.\" No cracks nor breaks on any glass parts. There is a missing screen strainer mentioned in the book, as being part of the juicer, and this strainer is missing. Regarding Sunbeam Drink Mixer attachment, all metal, words on metal are \"3 Pat. Applied For\". Instruction and Recipe book for model 7B noted consists of 42 pages, no tears but soil spots through out book. Last 5 pages are other sunbeam products and attachments available for the Sunbeam Mixes. I saw no date on this booklet. Original small bowl, 7 inches diameter top, has no chips nor cracks.
