I normally remove keys from these old manual typewriters and sell to jewelry makers or crafters. But these white keys with black letters and metal rims are very dark in many cases so doubt the crafters want them. The typewriters works great--just has some very dark keys which doesn\'t affect it\'s use in anyway.
Typewriter use is being resurrected so these are becoming in more demand. Many many have found their ways to landfills after the advent of word processors and computers. Now people are hunting for them, restoring them, displaying them, using them.
This is an Underwood Standard No. 5. Desktop or office model. All keys work, carriage works. Just dirty keys.
I am also including a gray fabric cover.
This typewriter was purchased from Hecht\'s in Iowa Falls, Iowa originally.
Enjoy owning this unit.
