Vintage Universal Landers, Frary, & Clark Electric Sad Iron

This sale is for a vintage electric Universal Landers, Frary, & Clark ElectricSad or Flat Iron. This has a wooden handle and metal base. There is a place to plug in a cord for electricity (there is NO cord). There is a metal tag attached below where the cord goes that says \"Universal ~ Landers, Frary, & Clark ~ New Britain, Conn. U.S.A.\" It alsosays No. E-905, Patent Pending, 105/114 Volts, and5.3 Amps.

This vintage sad iron measures about 6 5/8 inches from tip of front tothe back X 4 1/8 inches across the widest part X 5 inches high to the top of the handle. This weighs almost 6 pounds.

There is somelight wear on the paint on the handle and one very small chip out of the wood. The metal part has been covered with a green almost leather.There is some discoloration on the metal, a few very small dings/dents, and somesurface rust. This will probably clean up but still maintain its vintage look. I would call the condition \"Good but Used.\"
