I don\'t know much about this interesting folding stand or stool which was purchased at an estate sale but appears to have been used well in its life. It is hinged on each side with a collapsible support in the middle allowing it to fold up flat. It appears to have been painted multiple times as it has gouges and digs that have been painted over. Not sure if its a stool as the top does not provide a lot of space to sit but unsure what else it could be. It\'s solid as it held the weight of an average adult male. It may have been used as a stand of some sort as there is some gray overspray on the top as well. One could easily create a platform and attach it to the top to provide additional space for displaying something or holding a plant.
It stands about 16\" wide and stands about 20 1/2\" high when it is opened. As mentioned this is more of a vintage shabby chic item as it has quite a few dings and scratches which are evident of a life well lived. It could use a little more cleaning. A couple of the screws on the hinges may need to be tightened as well.
