Offered for sale is a very nice fresh estate sale find, a Coleman model 228E double mantle lantern, manufacturing date October 1960. This is one of the older models with a large hood. This one is very good condition both valves turn freely. There are no dents and the glass is perfect. The only thing that distracts from this being excellent is there are a couple of dings in the large hood and something has melted on the hood at some time in the past. The unit is untested but I drained all the fuel out of it for shipping and it will need new mantels which are readily available.
