Wehave for your viewing and offerding pleasure a vintage fixed bladeknife which we believe to be military and war related WWII. On oneside by the hilt it is stamped RH 36 PAL MADE IN U.S.A. On eachside of the knife blade it has a blood groove. From the hilt to thetip of the blade it measures 6 1/8”. At the widest part of theblade it measures 1 ¼”. The blade is heavy duty and measures 1/8”thick at the top. The blade is in good condition and sharp. It showssome scratch marks from having been sharpened. The handle is of darkbrown leather spacers which behind the hilt and in front of the metalend of the handle has other colored spacers. From behind the hilt tothe end of the metal handle it measures 4 7/8”. Across the centerof the handle it is 1 3/16” wide and 9/16” thick. From the tip ofthe blade to the end of the handle it measures 11 1/8”. The knifecomes with the original brown leather sheath. It is riveted in 6places and stitched all around the edging where the blade goes. Thesnap enclosure works well. It will accept a 2 ¼” wide belt at theloops. The sheath is in good condition.
