Up for sale is my Red Label FG-180, early model, Made in Japan. The tone is crisp clear and bold with nice room filling bass and clear highs. Really amazing sound overall. Easy to play as these guitars did not have \'fat\' necks ...and the action on this one is still very good (see Pics) . There are some scuffs and scratches in the finish here and there and although this guitar was played, it was well cared for. Includes new tuners, as one of the old ones was bent (I can include the 5 original Yamaha tuners with the guitar if you ask for them. They are still functional). The new tuners are well made replicas. New strings and original old case. Case is in fair condition, - looks decent and will protect guitar for shipment (closes, but hinges are coming off the rear - clasps work fine). Many of these older Yamaha\'s were not well cared for and have excessive bowing of the face or need neck resets ....and the action is too high. This one has VG action even at lower frets - no structural issues.
Overall a very nice survivor. Neck straight, no bridge lift, no buzz no dead frets, nice low action (see pic).
