I have for sale VINTAGE SCHATZ SHIPS WHEEL BRASS CLOCK. The brass 8 day(?) ship wheelclock and is marked \"AUG SCHALTZ & SOHNE GERMANY.\" The case is a ships wheel and measures approx 13\" across x 3 3/4\" deep.The dial has black Roman numerals on a white metal dial that is approx 7\" across.This is quality clock with a heavy glass crystal, wood ring and spokes and a heavy brass case that shows wear on one side(PIC #5). The clock winds, runs and keeps time. The clock ran for almost three days on a partialwind.The clock DOESN\'T chime but does ding when I move the chime screw on the back.The first winding screw is wound tight, I assume that controls the chimes. The brass, wood spokes and wood ring show wear from age and use(SEE PICS). Because of the highlighted flaws I am selling this clock for parts or repair. I am including a working key.Please take a close look at the pictures to be the final judge of condition. The pictures are part of the description and you will receive exactly what is shown.
