DESCRIPTION:
Up for sale is a PAIR (one blue glass, and one amber glass) of ORIGINAL 1950s/1960s Las Vegas casino ashtrays from the Pioneer Club. They say "New Pioneer Club" and have famous neon smoking cowboy "Vegas Vick" saying "Howdy, Podner!" on them. The iconic club was billed as the "New Pioneer Club" from 1956 to 1967, and these two ashtrays are originals from that era. After that it was billed as the "Famous Pioneer Club".
Both ashtrays appear near-mint. Each one might have one or two almost imperceptible scratches, but those may also be imperfections from the original glass mold. The glass on both has no chips or cracks. The decal is like new on the blue glass ashtray, and on the amber glass ashtray it has only miniscule aging/wear on the right-hand side (looking down into the ashtray) of the rim of the decal. Both are like they were found yesterday. As always, please see photographs to get a specific idea about the condition of these pieces.
