I've decided to part with a few toys that I never thought I'd sell. This time it's a near original Wurlitzer 1080 Jukebox. I've had this jukebox for nearly 11 years and now it needs a new home.
This is an excellent near original jukebox and is complete and fully working condition with coin! The program glasses, make selection glass, coin denomination glass, amplifier rebuild, and lightweight chromed tonearm conversion are the only things that have been changed. This jukebox plays loud, strong and sounds great. The veneer is absolutely rock solid with exception of one small trouble spot (see pic) where I snagged the lower left side of the juke on the side of a metal radiator when I was moving it. This is an easy clamp and glue-fix and the piece is still attached. I just never got around to repairing it. No other damage was sustained. The finish on the base / foot section of the cabinet is flaking but the sides still look quite acceptable. The lower back door is lifting slightly at the top. The upper back door is perfect and has a fantastic original mural. Also included is a NOS Wurlitzer star catalin for the front door as the original one in the juke has shrunk. One or two of the main mirrored plastics are reproduction and the top center one has a small inch long crack. Original cabinet locks front and back. No cashbox lock. Record trays are all original and have nice 1-24 decals. Johnny one record stack topper (original I believe). Gorgeous original mechanism board. Right upper side of cabinet has a small dig that someone filled with putty. I never messed around with it. All in all this is a fantastic original working Wurlitzer 1080 complete with functioning coin equipment. It is not setup for free play.
Jukebox is located in New Milford, CT. This is a pickup only item unless freight plans are discussed in advance of sale close. I can also arrange shipment to the Chicago Game Room Show for $250
