Shipping to South America and Brazil in particular can take very long. Transit times of more than 8 weeks are quite normal.Due to numerous non-delivery issues with Canada Post, I will only ship to Canada by registered mail. Unless mentioned otherwise a converter or cartridges are not included

Ballpoint penFountain pen with 18K-750 Medium nib
The nib of the fountain pen is marked \'1883 / 1983\', indicating it was made in 1983; the year Waterman launched the MAN 100. Only pens made during the first year have this marking on the nib.
The 1983 Sterling Silver MAN 100 in a smooth finish was made in a limited run. One internet sources states the run was limited to 1,000 pieces, another internet source claims it were 2,000 pieces. I was however contacted by a fellow collector who has a ballpoint numbered2,376, so the total number of the run is still unkwown to me.
Anyway ..... The ballpoint pen is number0452 and the fountain pen is number0727.
Caps and barrels of the pens show several hallmarks for sterling silver.
Both pens are in absolutely excellent vintage conditionand fully working (ballpoint needs a new refill).Of course the pens show signs of use commensurate with their age.The end of the barrel of the fountain pen shows a small dent (indicated in the photo\'s)
I\'ve decided to not polish the silver, so some patina is showing.
The pens come in an era-correct Waterman gift box.
About the MAN 100:The Man 100 was introduced in 1983 as the flagship of the Waterman line and commemorates the 100th anniversary of the company.It\'s is a blend of retro and contemporary pen design, capturing the cylindrical look of early black hard rubber pens from the 1910s through the 1920s. Some references to this pen call it the \"Le Man 100\", which is what Waterman calls the line in its French language product launch write up, however in the company\'s English language \"Waterman Brand History,\" published in March, 1998, the line is called, \"Man 100.\" So both names apply, depending on what language you are speaking at the moment!
