The bean pot is Beige or bisque color in the matte finish and the small bowls are beige or bisque with the matte finish and with a brown glaze inside the bowls. Small bowls measure 3 1/2\" wide and 2 1/2\" tall. The bean pot is approx 5 1/4\" tall and the opening is 4 1/2\" wide. Nice bean pot set of Ovenware. Made in USA.
The Watt Pottery opened in 1922 in Crooksville, OH. The company began production of kitchen utility items in 1936. Most items were hand painted with bold brush strokes using reds, greens and blues which contrasted nicely with the naturalbuff glazed body. A lesser known finish is the matte exterior that went well with the dark brown interior finished glaze. WATT Pottery burned to the ground in 1965. So all the pieces found today certainly fall into the categoryof vintage and collectible.
