Up for sale is a 14v Whelen HRCFA series or compatible self contained double flash strobe for a tail beacon.  This unit was purchased to replace an older rotating beacon that was non-functioning.  It fit perfectly in the tail cap.  I decided to upgrade again to LED and am now selling the strobe unit.  14 volts.  Draws 3.2 amps.  Weighs 1.5 lbs.  Went to LED to reduce amp usage further.  When taken out of my plane I noticed the strobe tube was dark so I replaced it with a BRAND NEW strobe tube that has only been used once to test it.  It has a bright Strong Double flash at about 60/min.  Height 7.25 in diameter 3.7 in.  The lens is nearly new and is very clear.  These units brand new sell for between 4-5 hundred.  This is a FAA approved direct replacement for any rotating beacon that uses a 3 and 3/4 in diameter mounting hole.  Thanks for looking.
