It has been tested to operate.Made in Denmark.You may need to have it adjusted by a professional audiologist to suit your particular hearing needs for best results.
It has automatic volume adjustment but also allows manual adjustment via up/down lever with an audible beep for each step.
Has 3 program modes:

• M - Microphone mode. Amplifies room sound picked up by the internal microphone.
• T - Telecoil mode. For use with a specially adapted telephone or loop adapter. Does not pick up room sound in this mode. I was unable to test this function.
• M+T - both of the above. Picks up room sound in this mode.
