Here is a really nice Wilton No. 835 machinist bullet vise. I was lucky enough to pick up two of these at an estae sale, I went throught both of them and I'll keep one and sell the other. I pretty much stripped it bare metal, pimed and painted with rustoleum machinist gray (a couple of photos make it look a little blue, but it is gray). I re-lubed and here you go. I have now upgraded all of my vises in my little hobby shop to Wiltons and I wouldn't trade them for any other brand I know of. I've had cheap imports and OK US made ones but these are a pleasure to use. According to a date on the dovetail slide it looks like this was manufactured in 1961...it apparently has had light use as there are no chisel marks or hacksaw cuts. The jaws are good useable ones and of course they are replaceable. The jaws measure about 3 1/2" wide. This came out of a home hobby shop, at least when I got it...it is a great size for a hobby shop or gunsmith...no issues...no cracks, repairs or welds...just a good honest Wilton vise...
