DESCRIPTION This is a Winston Vapor 690-4 6-weight, 4-piece 9’ 0” (2,74m) long fly rod. It is serial number 22532. The rod is light weight 3.9 oz. The reel seat is metal freshwater handle with a composite insert. The rod blank is an olive color. This rod is ready to fish. Put your favorite reel and line on it, and it will serve you well. The Vapor series of graphite rods was an early effort by Winston to provide high performance at a lower price point. The action is classified as “fast”. It has since been discontinued.
