A used HAAG COMPOUND SLIDE REST CROSS SLIDE and TOP SLIDE. Stamped HAAG MACHINE CO INC HAWTHORNE NJ. Based upon the part numbers I believe this is a HAAG model 60. It is about 6-1/2\" tall, many other basic dimensions are shown on some of the last pictures. Large and heavy, weighs about 55 pounds. I believe this item was intended to be an accessory for HAGG Spinmaster and other lathes, to be used for cutoff and forming chucks, etc….. This item is in good condition.

The base, is stamped 62-1 and measures 10” x 7” x ¾” thick. It has a removable key, 2” x 7” x1/2”. The base can be removed from the rest of the COMPOUND SLIDE REST.

The cross slide is 14” long and stamped 60. The cross slide ways are 3-1/4” x 14” x 3/8”.

The top slide ways are 9” x 3-1/4” x 3/8”. The top slide can be rotated and has an index graduated from 90 degrees to 0 degrees to 90 degrees.

Both of the ways are not V ways, they are flat ways, with adjustable gibs on the sides. The slide screws collars are plain, they are not graduated.

This slide rest will mount to various wood and metal lathes with modification. It was most recently mounted to a JET 1442.
