Scarce carousel music box for holding cigarettes or any other item. Named the Roundelay. One of the very early ones made with the patent pending. Made by Swiss Harmony, Inc., Chicago. The tune it plays is Suwanee River. It is in proper working order and excellent condition. I believe it is Bakelite. Hexagonal in shape with fancy gold etched doors inside and out and top. When wound the doors open to reveal the objects held and close at the end of the song. No nicks, chips, or cracks. No deep scratches or repairs. No wear to the gold etching. Bottom shows very minor wear. No stains or discoloration. Nothing glued. Needs to be cleaned up. It measures approximately 7 3/4\" in height and approximately 7 1/2\" in diameter.
