• The alarm works and is in fact, very loud
• Winds up and has awonderful \"Tick-tock\" sound!
• Chrome body has nice aged patina
• Back of clock looks like brass - I\'m not sure though
• Glass dome is in great, great condition
• Face of clock is clear and clean
• Clock hands are great too
• Base has some wear and tear
• I suggest having a professional service it to keep it in top running shape
