Here is a original WW1 U.S. Army 1917 Remington bayonet measuring 21 3/4 \" long with handle . The blade alone is about 16 7/8 \" long . On one side of the blade near the handle is a bomb and U.S. along with another mark which I can not make out , on the other side is the date 1917 with the maker Remington within a circle . The handle fits tight to the blade as it should and the wood is free of chips or cracks . The blade has normal spotting as seen . I have left it as is so buyer can do the same or clean it to their own taste . I do not have the scabbard . This would be a nice addition to any military collection .
