WW1 USMC Mills cartridge belt w/ USMC snaps, dated 1914, quite RARE:
$860.00

Hello, up for offer is an awesome and very hard to find 1914 dated USMC cartridge belt. This was a local barn find. Literally hanging on the inside of a barn wall covered in spider webs. The belt is in very good shape. Some age wear and old water stains but nothing bad. In fact, in remarkably good shape. The snaps all function and the USMC snaps are quite clear. Some age oxidation but not bad. The clasp is perfect. The brass rivetsall look good. Some light oxidation. The outside has some old tar marks. Just adds character. The inside has MILLS 1914 date and some odd soldier art. The one looks like a grave marker with a soldiers name on it. Not sure if he did that for a fellow soldier or someone later did it for him. The name on the grave markerlooks to beLOUIS C. G. MARTIN. There is also some flowers or weeds drawn on the inside. The brass ends are marked patented MILLS May, July, 07. See photos for more detail. Very rare and hard to find and it will make the USMC collectors Christmas perfect. US buyers only. Payment is with paypal only within 3 days of sales ending. Shipping will be USPS parcel select. Insurance for this item will be paid by me. No packing or handling fees, just USPS actual costs. Thank you and good luck if you offer. Check out all my other sales for more WW1 and WW2 USMC items.
10% of the proceeds of this sale go to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Mercury One Nazarene Fund, so please offer generously. Thank you.
