The wood stock is in good condition and does have some fine cracks, wear marks and dings. There are two attached slingswivels without the sling.There is black paint in the area of the Butt Plate and does not have a steel butt plate. Also, there is black paint near the end near the barrel with two extra screw holes near that end that looks like there was another sling holder attached at one time. I do not know for a fact if the finish is original as I have only owned this item for a few years.The overallmeasurementsof thisTraining Rifleis 42-1/2\" long. The barrel is made of solid wood.
