Up for your consideration is an original somewhat rare WW2 khaki canvas bag used for storing radio antenna equipment I believe used on jeeps and various vehicles....the bag is quite long measuring approx 38 inches long and approx 8 inches wide....bottom has a metal base rivited to bottom of bag...bag has a carry strap...inside of top that opens looks to be lined with leather...strap that holds top shut has some fraying on the side as does the carry strap...the only markings I see on the bag is a black ink stamp \" BG-49 \" ....the info I found online states this bag was used to carry radio antenna equipment for the BC 148 SCR 131 and SCR 161 military radios in WW2....bag has some stains etc from use...the wear you would expect for such a piece....see images for best description....We are currently selling off a collection of original military memorbillia for many countries and eras so be sure and keep checking our sales....Will only ship to the United States no exceptions.
