This is an original WW 2CockpitA-9A oxygen regulatoras used in the famous P-40 Warhawk. Thisregulator is ingood condition. It is dated 1943. It is designed to be used with the A-8B oxygen mask.Thegauge assembly fits in a 2 1/4 inch diameter hole.The P-40 is famous for the Flying Tigers flying in China at the beginning of WW 2 .Today the P-40 is slowly making a comeback as several aircraft have been restored to flying condition and several more projects are in the works.Thisregulator would have also been used in the early B-17, B-24 and several other aircraft..
