WWI Marine Corps Officer Dress White Service Blouse and Trousers: $1100.00
This is an 100 percent original set of USMC officers dress whites issued and worn during WWI. The blouse is made of a fine grade of polished linen, as are the trousers which it matches perfectly in terms of wear, shade, and size as they were issued and worn together. Both items show wear but no rips, fraying, or other physical damage though both have some stains - this was a working uniform in the summer on ship and station. Buttons are the ones original to the tunic, and are the turn-of-the-century high-dome, early six-point star type with removable rings. EGAs are also original and are not marked but tested sterling, solid back officers WWI type - I was going to keep this blouse just for these beauties. Size is amedium to small and was wornby a WWI Marine Warrant Officer, one of the very first commissioned Warrant Officers by special warrant in 1916. Rare and unlikely you\'ll run onto another set of these for a long time.
