This unique WWI / WWII era combat knife was originally a M1918 knuckle knife. The soldier that altered it kept the blade and original pommel. They added a nice trench art handle made of clear lucite spacers. It is 11 1/2 inches long overall with a 7 inch double edged carbon steel blade. The blade has a very dark finish or patina. This item is used and has wear. The guard and pommel spacer are slightly loose. The pommel has some rust and there is some thick rust / oxidation on the blade (see photos). The tip is dinged.
