This is a 1940\'s World War II era USMC bolo machete knife. It looks to be original with the original scabbard. The blade is marked \"USMC Chatillon, N.Y.\" The scabbard is marked \"USMC Boyt 45.\" The bolo knife is in good condition considering its age. The blade has rust/pitting and the handle has some cracks in it, but still feels like a solid knife. The overall length of the knife is 16.5 inches and it has a 11.5 inch blade on it. The blade is still sharp and the handle is still solid despite the cracks. The scabbard is in great condition. This would be great in any knife or WWII collection.
