WWII Ike Jacket 3rd Armored Division Army Ground Force Combat Infantry Badge +:
$49.99

This jacket is one I bought after I left Fort Knox. I have had it now for over 30 years. I got it from a lady in South Texas outside of San Antonio. She told me that it was her brothers coat. She also said that the two patches, the 3rd & the Ground force one, she had to resow them to the jacket because they were coming off. I did check them with a UV light & there is nylon thread holding or helping to hold both patches on to the jacket just as she had told me. Everything else is as he had it. She was selling it along with all his clothes & other stuff at a yard sale, just outside a buddy\'s house off base. I had & still have no reason to not have believed her, she was in her late 70\'s & I paid only a small amount for the stuff. I have been buying & selling artifacts for over 25 years & own DEEP SOUTH ARTIFACTS LLC. MORE STUFF TO COME.

                             ALSO

I lost the info on who she & this guy were  somewhere on my moves, over the years. My lost as history\'s, but a nice true coat that came from a family in Texas, again I bought it because the guy was with General Patton & I had just left Fort Knox, for Fort Sam. This coat does have A combat infantry badge, a Presidential unit citation, a good conduct medal, and over seas medal, and other I don\'t know what they are, but the bottom ones are all on one long pin. The 3rd armor patch has the white back which is earlier than the green back type, which would make early In 1940.  This guy was an E-8 and if I remember correctly a Master Sergeant, but if I didn\'t have to salute them, I really didn\'t worry about their rank. No disrespect..! I was a E-6 at one time, got out as a E-5, I mush have up-set someone, happy I new a Bird who likes me. I got the Same discharge as most of you \"Honorable\" I was told to just act like I had the change to move forward again. Alway moving forward. This isn\'t my story so I\'m done.

This jacket is a 38R & also comes with his Wool Army shirt. I can only fine 3 small ( the size of pencil lead ) holes they are in the shirt.

This is a great WWII Ike jacket & shirt & they is in super shape. Check out the photos. This needs a new home as I am listing more of my WWII stuff ASAP.
