WWII Japanese Gunto Scabbard, Sword Katana:

Gunto scabbard. The body is complete but surface corroded evenly. About half the surface paint remains. It appears to have been wrapped with strapping tape at some point. Some of the wooden core remains. The throat is missing. It does sheath a blade cleanly. I am unaware of which exact pattern it is. Outside length 28.75\" not counting the missing throat.
