For your consideration, I am offering a World War 2 Guard Marked US M3 Trench Knife manufactured by theUtica CutleryCompany of Utica, New York. The M3 was developed in 1943 andUtica was one of nine companies to manufacture it for the US Military. The blade measures63/4 inches, retains virtually all of it\'s parkerized finish, factory edge and needle point tip. It has not been re sharpened. The guard is marked U.S. overM3 over UTICA.The guardis solid with absolutely no movement andshow some thinning ofit\'s original finish. Theeight groove stacked leather washer handle is tight and rock solid.It retains anice russet brown color with minor aging. The grooves in the handle are nice andcrisp. The peenedpommel is tight,has a nice sunburst, correct flaming bomb ordinance logoand is in excellent condition retaining mostall of it\'s original finish. The over all length of the knifemeasures just under 11 3/4 inches. Hard to find in this condition. No scabbard.

Very niceexample that will make an excellent addition to your US or any military edged weapon collection.
