The unit was designed to be an attachment for the FRG-7700 receiver but will work with other units. I cannot test this unit because I no longer have a receiver. However, the last time I had it attached to the receiver it was fine.So there is no reason to think that is still not in operating condition.During my experience I was amazed what proper impedance matching does just for fine receiving . What sets this unit apart from many others is that the FRT-7700 has inputs for both high and low impedance wires, as well as outputs of different impedance\'s. That\'s crucial for correct matching.
