Nice clean Yaesu Vertex VX-150 2 meter handheld transceiver, working as it should on repeaters with tones and of course simplex. The radio itself is clean with a few signs of use has small mark at bottom of display but it doesn\'t impair viewing the display. Please see pictures as they are part of the description. Rechargeable battery pack takes a charge but no guarantees on longevity as it\'s used and I don\'t know how many charge cycles are on it. Also comes with an optional quick desktop charger that allows you to charge another battery pack while using one in the radio if you decide to buy a second battery pack (I recommend it). You\'ll also get an alkaline AA battery case for backup emergency power. Great for weather related emergency events, plus with warmer weather finally here it\'s great for camping, hiking, or outdoors in general etc.. This is a great rugged rig with good VHF receive coverage so you can listen in on some municipalities, weather, and this also makes for a good rig for rail fans from my experience. Also please note this has the MARS/CAP extended frequencies transmit mod so if you need that it\'s already done for you, and also please be aware of your license limitations before transmitting! I\'ve got many 2 Meter rigs and own more than needed and I need the space now more than I need my collection of handhelds.
